A little goes a long way
| Dear Friend,
Many people don’t realize that the National Geographic Society is a nonprofit organization that invests in a global community of Explorers who are committed to ensuring a healthy and sustainable future for all. This means that 100 percent of your donation as a Contributing Member goes directly into our work.
In 2022, Contributing Members gave more than 160,313 gifts of support to the National Geographic Society. Their support makes it possible for our Explorers to document and protect critical species and habitats, inspire others to take action, and educate the next generation about the wonders of our world.
But we can’t afford to slow our progress now...
This year, every donation we receive—every dollar from supporters like you—will not only help protect the progress we’ve made thus far, but will also help our Explorers advance their work to end wildlife trafficking, protect at-risk species at the edge of extinction, and safeguard fragile ecosystems for future generations.
Can we count on you to become a Contributing Member with a $35 membership? | | | |
When you become a Contributing Member of the National Geographic Society, you’ll be making a direct investment in the longevity of our planet. Make your tax-deductible gift of $35 or any amount you are comfortable with. Today’s global challenges make it more important than ever that we come together to inspire educators, youth, and future Explorers and help more people learn about, care for, and protect the wonder of our world.
Thank you in advance for all that you do to ensure that our Explorers are empowered to continue their important work across the globe.
Sincerely, | |
| Wudassie Teklehaimanot Senior Director, Annual Giving & Membership | | | | |
