Impact Report: Chapter 3 The Road To 75,000,000 How customers like you helped us donate 75+ million new clothing items to those in need.
2011 Co-Founders Dave and Randy learn that socks are the #1 most requested item in homeless shelters. They search for a solution.
2013 After two years of research and development, Bombas is born. Our goal: get 1,000,000 pairs of new socks to those who need them within 10 years.
2016 We hit our goal of one million well ahead of our original ten-year timeline, then decide to aim even higher.
2018 We launch our first collaborations - including our Sesame Street and Muhammad Ali collections. Donations eclipse 10 million.
Underwear T-Shirts 2019 Underwear and t-shirts are the second-and third-most requested clothing items in homeless shelters - so we start making those too.
2020 As we reach 40 million product donations, our Giving Team works to support our unhoused neighbors throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
2022 You did it! You helped us reach 75+ million donations. But we're just getting started.
2023 and Beyond As our Giving Partner network grows, we're committed to furthering our advocacy and donations for our Giving Partners and those experiencing homelessness.
