| Mark your calendars: Umbrella Art Fair returns this November to take over 19,000 square feet of the newly opened Plaza at the Dock! Umbrella is a large-scale art fair where DC's art scene converges with avant-garde artists and makers from around the world. It's a declaration of artistic independence, a rebellion against the mundane, a celebration of the daring and, importantly, a space to provide economic opportunities for artists and creative entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their works. Umbrella Art Fair will include a diverse programming lineup this year ranging from CreativeMornings DC to a special Secret Walls art battle featuring women artists. Admission is free and RSVPs are encouraged.
