If you've been following the saga of my stolen guitar, the story just got a MAJOR update. It's a POWERFUL testimony to the faithfulness of God. I sent out updates as new developments occurred to encourage people in the movement of God in this trial, as well as to implore people to continue to pray and believe for the ULTIMATE goal— repentance and salvation! Below are some updates, as well as what I wrote at the time of each incident in the hopes that you are encouraged by how faithful our God really is. FIRST: A little backstory— On June 22nd, my vehicle was broken into in Spokane, Washington, and my prized guitar was stolen. Here's what I wrote about the incident at the time:
|
I pray that my guitar, my weapon of worship, becomes a burden that causes the thief to return, repent, and RECEIVE JESUS!! God is capable of doing this and SO MUCH MORE!! Stay tuned!! |
THEN: By God's grace, my guitar was recovered from a local pawn shop. Prayer #1 was answered, but we knew God wasn't done moving. This is what I wrote after recovering my guitar: |
Well by His grace, I am OVERJOYED to report our first prayer has been answered— the guitar has been RECOVERED! An eagle-eyed Believer spotted it at a pawn shop and bought it back!! Now we wait for the second part of the story to unfold! I know God's not done working on the life of the person who stole the guitar. Stay tuned!
|
THEN: The man who broke into my vehicle, stole, and pawned my guitar was evangelized to by a street preacher in the Spokane area. We still had faith that God was moving in his heart! Here's what I wrote:
|
Dean was doing street ministry when he ran into Zach, who confessed to breaking into my car and stealing my guitar. Dean pulled out his phone and played videos of Let Us Worship revivals, and Zach repented and asked for forgiveness! How cool is that!! Now he has not yet given his life to the Lord, but this story's not over. We will be in Spokane on August 20th, and I invited Zach to our revival—this is shaping up to be one POWERFUL testimony!! |
NOW: Yesterday, Let Us Worship returned to Spokane, the very place this story began two months ago. We were EXPECTANT to see God move, and He did not disappoint! Zach, the man who stole my guitar, accepted our invitation to attend! And more than that, he received salvation and was baptized! Prayer #2 answered! Watch below to see the whole thing happen! I promise you'll leave encouraged!! |
Thank you to all who prayed and believed with us! God really does work all things for the good of those who love Him. When obstacles arise, we MUST trust His plan— what may seem like an inconvenience may be part of His kingdom plan.
