Ultra Q

Jakob Armstrong (son of Green Day's Billie Joe) has quietly honed his craft until age 16, playing in bands around Oakland. With the memories of Ultraman action figures fighting in his mind, he and some friends started playing around and pouring over records, forming Ultra Q (its name inspired by an Ultraman prequel series).

Ambar Lucid

Recently featured in the NY Times "Ambar Lucid may be known for her brassy, arena-sized voice, but on her new single, she ventures into new territory. "Girl Ur So Pretty" glitters like pixie dust: in an airy, gossamer falsetto, the 21-year-old artist serenades her crush over sparkling synths and '00s girl group handclaps."

Mars Arts DC Free Concert Series ft. Frenchie Davis

Frenchie Davis is a singer/songwriter, actress, and social activist originally from Los Angeles. Frenchie has appeared on Broadway in RENT, Dreamgirls, and Ain't Misbehavin', for which she was nominated for a Grammy. She made her TV debut on the second season of American Idol and was also a finalist on Team Christina during the first season of NBC's The Voice.

Heavy Metal Parking Lot 35th Anniversary ft. Judas Priestess

Raise a beer (or two) and celebrate the 35th anniversary of the cult film phenomenon, Heavy Metal Parking Lot. The evening features a screening of the documentary, followed by a discussion with the film's creators and a performance by JUDAS PRIESTESS, the world's only all-female tribute to Judas Priest!
