NOW OPEN: BAR BETSIE!

Welcome to the neighborhood! Bar Betsie is a lively new place from Ralph Brabham, JP Sabatier and Drew Porterfield of DC's Jane Jane. Bar Betsie's cozy yet dramatic aesthetic (neon red curtains, dark-wooden booths) showcases a menu packed with tequila-forward cocktails, nostalgic shooters and American finger foods like lil smokies and fried pickle dip. The bar pays tribute to Sabatier's Puerto Rican mother, Betsie Giró, while leaning into a fun, all-American drinking culture with skin-contact wines, local beers and a signature rum-fueled cold brew. Bar Betsie invites guests to settle in for well-crafted drinks, late-night bites, and a few hidden surprises waiting to be discovered.

TUESDAY-FRIDAY AT 5 PM
SATURDAY + SUNDAY AT 2 PM

GIVE AND GO-GO

Don't miss Chela Mitchell Gallery's "Give and Go-Go," an exhibition featuring artists Eric Louis January and Bradley Ward that explores basketball's deep historical significance in DC. Through painting, collage, and mixed media, the show honors the city's impact on the sport and its role in shaping Black identity, resilience, and collective memory. Inspired by basketball strategy and DC's legendary Go-Go music, the title reflects the city's rhythm, movement, and lasting influence. The works celebrate basketball as more than a game—it's a cultural cornerstone, a vehicle for mobility, and a unifying force across generations.
