I didn’t come from the usual background you might imagine.
The first months of my life were spent in a foster home, unsure of where I was headed or what the future held.
But everything changed when I was adopted by two amazing parents. They gave me the love, guidance, and support that allowed me to build a life I could never have imagined.
I grew up in a small town in northwest Ohio where the values of faith, family, freedom, personal responsibility, and hard work were at the heart of everything.
It was a community where neighbors cared for each other, and where I learned that no matter where you come from, with grit and determination, you can create your own future.
